Adventure Times Kayaks Present its' Annual Okeeheelee Spring  Kayak Expo.

Three spectacular days of on the water kayak demos and skills classes.

Adventure Times Kayaks and Okeeheelee Park Rentals, in cooperation with
Friends of Okeeheelee Nature Center will conduct the Okeeheelee Spring Kayak
Expo Friday through Sunday, March 6, 7 & 8, 2009 at Okeeheelee Park, 7715
Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach.

Times for the event:
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Friday
10:00 am - 5:00 pm  - Saturday and Sunday.

Okeeheelee Park is the site of a beautiful paddling fresh-water lake.

KAYAK DEMOS: Here is your chance to paddle many different styles of kayaks
and to meet the factory reps from manufacturers including Hobie Kayaks, Emotion Kayaks, Heritage Kayaks, Hurricane Kayaks, Native Watercraft, and RTM Kayaks. The kayaks models are at lakeside to paddle each day. The Hobie Mirage Pedal Kayaks are available for those interested in them.

SKILLS CLASSES:
This weekend festival includes basic paddling instruction for adults and youth, advanced kayak rescue classes and Eskimo rolling clinics taught by the friendly Adventure Times ACA certified staff.

RAFFLE: Your donation/entrance fee automatically enters you into the day's kayak product raffle -- winners announced at the close of each day!

NATURE TRAILS: In addition The Okeeheelee Nature Center and trails will be open.

On-site registration will be happening at lakeside. A donation of $8 for adults and $6 for youths under 18 is requested to participate. Weekend passes are available for $12 and $8 respectively. All proceeds go to the Friends of Okeeheelee Park Nature Center, a non-profit support organization.

Enjoy a great family weekend of paddling, the chance to try many new kayaks, meet new paddling friends and enhance your paddling skills with our friendly instructors..
